Pure Christmas Energy
Santa Klaus urinates pure Christmas energy.
So my mother went crazy with the decorations again. This year the Christmas decorations were actually up the day BEFORE Thanks-taking. It was a little unusual to eat Thanksgiving dinner surrounded by a mix of Christmas, Snowmen and Thanksgiving decorations. Still, that's how it was, that's how she rolls. The volume of decorations is, sadly, down from previous years. Still, there are a shatload of Christmas paraphernalia adorning the house.
I will be honest, I am the biggest critic of the decorations, but it's good to have them back. It's that month long period where the house is all crazed and Christmasy. She does a good job, gets into the decorating. It beats the snowmen, which are just cold reminders of long Maine winters. It beats the rabbits and bears, which are just wretched.
The tree is up as well. They got it like two days after Thanksgiving. The decorating process hasn't started, but once it does the Christmas decoration world domination plan will be complete.
I continue to be a non-participant in this decorating, Christmas season madness.
