A Sure Thing is Never Sure

Rey Mysterio managed to defend his title against JBL!!! Just when you are certain from all the rumors and talkings that JBL was destined to rob poor old Rey of his title he retains. One of the coolest reigns ever continues. The underdog champion goes on, lucky as hell. Great story, great story. After being utterly squashed three weeks in a row by subpar big men, Rey pulls out the important win. Just like Trips not winning the belt at Wrestlemania, JBL doesn't win it here (praise Allah). Those were both sure things that didn't happen... Vinnie Mac, there may be some brains left in your head that aren't insane.

Paul London and Spanky won the tag team titles, hells yeah. They deserved those titles back in '03, but at least they have them now.

But if you do want a sure thing watch Naomichi Marufuji vs Kenta Kobashi from the 4/24 Budokon show. That's a sure MOTYC. Really cements Marufuji as the future of NOAH. He'll hold the GHC Heavyweight title, for damn sure. KENTA vs Taiji Ishimori was good too, catch that if you can.

Professor Henry Jones: They're trying to kill us.
Indiana Jones: I know, Dad.
Professor Henry Jones: This is a new experience for me.
Indiana Jones: It happens to me all the time.
